Our 10th Annual Halloween Dog Parade was one for the books — filled with cheerful crowds, wagging tails, laughter and so many creative costumes! 👻✨ A huge thank you to everyone who joined — all the beautiful dogs, their proud owners, and the little ones who brought so much joy and colour to the parade. 🏆 1st Prize went to Dylan, the Cocker Spaniel as Dagger — absolutely pawsome! 🥈 2nd Prize went to Haribo the Pirate, who sweetly shared his treasure with his adorable brother! 🌭 Piglet, the Terrier won the best sausage catcher! Endless thanks to our marvellous judges — Lorraine Hillier (Hot Gossip), her sister, Tom from Honk, and Phillipa from Experience Henley — and to our wonderful celebrity MC, Patrick Collins🎤💫 Huge love to the Naughty Mutt Nice team, Jana Roberge for the stunning photos , and our local legends The Henley Herald and The Henley Standard for the brilliant coverage. It’s been two weeks since I came back from Malaysia, where I had the amazing opportunity to train at Pets Icon Grooming Academy (PIGA) . I spent time learning and perfecting Asian Fusion grooming techniques under the guidance of the incredible Miss Valerie Khoo—and wow, what an experience! Her knowledge, creativity, and passion were so inspiring. I’ve come back feeling refreshed, full of ideas, and so excited to keep growing in this craft I love. I’ve already started putting some of what I learned into practice and can’t wait to share more with you all! "Lobster" wins 9th NMN Halloween Dog Parade in Henley On Thames-UK 🎃🐾 A hauntingly delightful thank you to everyone who joined us for the 9th Halloween Dog Parade! It was truly spooktacular! Special thanks to our guest judges, Tom and MP Freddie Van Mierlo — your insights were pawsitively amazing. The dogs were all brilliant, and congratulations to our winners: 1st - Olive, a mini dachshund, wore a lobster costume with 'pincers' to match the outfit of the owner's baby. They were dressed as chefs. 2nd - Roscoe, the Red Lab dressed in funnybones suit matching his family.. 3rd - Dougal, the rescue cavapoo, dressed in a spider outfit created by the owner's grandson.  (pictures below) PHOTOS: Jana Roberge 🎃🐾 A special shoutout to Phillipa from Experience Henley for making this all happen! Dog Grooming Parlour Celebrates 15th Anniversary - Henley Standard A DOG grooming parlour in Henley has celebrated 15 years in business. (OCT-2024) Naughty Mutt Nice in Reading Road marked the milestone with complimentary glasses of fizz and homemade dog biscuits for their regular customers. Owner Karole Robertson, who took over the business in 2017, decorated the shop with balloons from Henley events company Atticus and Hope and gave out T-shirts which marked the anniversary. She said: “We made some home-baked doggy cookies last night, so they are fresh. It has been great to invite our regulars and it is nice to see them on a special day like this. They have been following us for so many years and it’s just lovely.” Ms Robertson said that she was in disbelief that the shop had been open for so long and that she had enjoyed getting to know her clients and their pets over the years. She said: “We have had a blast. Everything is so much fun and it’s so satisfying getting to know people, getting to know the dogs since they were little.
